Lamplighter adds production space to Scott’s Addition roastery
The business has taken over a 3,400-square-foot space adjoining its Summit Avenue roastery, once occupied by Richmond Cycling Corps, to use for coffee production.
From Richmond BizSense:
Lamplighter has added some extra elbow room at its Scott’s Addition location, some of which will be used to increase production of its new nitro cold brew coffee.
Lamplighter Coffee Roasters now occupies all 3,400 square feet at 1717 Summit Ave., where it already had a coffee shop and roasting facility, co-owner Noelle Archibald confirmed.
The rest of the warehouse previously was occupied by Richmond Cycling Corps, a nonprofit that supports youth in public housing projects through bicycling. The organization has moved to 2123 Fairmount Ave. in the East End.
