Zach Archibald, co-owner of Lamplighter Coffee Roasters, is betting on a new Chipotle-style breakfast concept near Freeman High School.
Tragic news for coffee lovers near VCU. The original Lamplighter on Addison remains open for limited service.
"We’ve never spent a penny on advertisements," owner Noelle Archibald said proudly. "It’s all been organic growth through word of mouth and personal relationships."
The business has taken over a 3,400-square-foot space adjoining its Summit Avenue roastery, once occupied by Richmond Cycling Corps, to use for coffee production.
