Richmond’s first Asian Street Food Festival is set for Saturday, November 8th, from noon to 5 p.m. at The Answer Brewpub on West Broad Street. The event will feature food vendors representing cuisines from across Asia, including Japan, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, and India.

Hosted by the Asian American Society of Central Virginia (AASoCV), the festival aims to celebrate cultural diversity through food, music, and community. Co-organizer Rumy Mohta said the goal is to give Richmonders “the chance to taste the incredible variety of Asian street food and experience the culture and community behind each dish.”

The Answer Brewpub will offer craft beer specials throughout the afternoon. Admission is free and open to the public.

AASoCV, a volunteer-run nonprofit founded in 1998, includes 19 Asian communities across Central Virginia. The organization regularly hosts cultural events to promote understanding and appreciation of Asian heritage in the region.
