Henrico Restaurant Week is making a comeback for the first time since 2018, offering diners the chance to support local restaurants while also contributing to a worthy cause. Scheduled to take place from April 28 to May 4, the event will benefit Safe Harbor, a Henrico-based nonprofit that assists survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking.

Henrico Restaurant Week is organized by the Henrico Citizen, an independent news organization that first launched the event in 2015. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $20,000 for local nonprofit partners, including Henrico Christmas Mother, Henrico Police Athletic League, and Virginia Home for Boys and Girls.

“We’re excited to bring back an event that the community supported so well during its first run,” said Henrico Citizen Publisher Tom Lappas. “We know what a foodie region this is, and how generous the Henrico community is. Henrico Restaurant Week offers a great chance to support local restaurants and a deserving nonprofit organization while enjoying great food and time with family and friends.”

Businesses and restaurants interested in participating or sponsoring the event can find more information at Henrico Restaurant Week’s website.
