Henrico County draws water for more than 90,000 residents daily. When the water returns to the James, it’s cleaner than when it was first drawn. And did you know it takes between 8 and 14 hours for one drop of water to make it through the treatment process?
Henrico Schools’ Career and Technical Education program has decided that athletes aren’t the only ones who deserve to have their hard work recognized as they look to the future. The program will hold its first ever “Career and Technical Letter-of-Intent Signing Day” March 28th.
To qualify, a school must show it has made fitness part of its culture through programs and infrastructure, and show measurable results in increasing physical activity among its students, staff and local community.
The County of Henrico is spending $10,000 to explore the possibility of demolishing the high school in the West End and replacing it with a new $80 million facility instead of making $55 in needed renovations.
