Participating restaurants announced for fall edition of 2017 Richmond Restaurant Week
The semi-annual event benefitting FeedMore will feature 40 of the area’s best restaurants, who will be serving up three-course prix fixe dinners for $29.17 each.
One of the best opportunities to eat out at your favorite area restaurant–or try something new–is back. The fall edition of Richmond Restaurant Week will be held October 23rd through the 29th, and, as always, some of the area’s best establishments are taking part.
The event, a semi-annual dining event to benefit FeedMore, will feature 40 different restaurants with varying cuisines. For $29.17, diners can enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu prepared by some of the area’s best chefs. $4.17 of the price goes directly to support the programs of the Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.
Founded in 2001, the event has gone on to raise over a half a million dollars for the organization. In 2016 alone, the event raised over $119,000, providing hundreds of thousands of meals for the hungry in Central Virginia.
Area chefs flex their creativity creating a three-course price fixed menu following some basic guidelines, and offer it up all week. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy your favorite spot in a new way, or to try a new place.
