Freeman High School teacher arrested following alleged sexual relationship with minor

A teacher from Freeman High School is in trouble with the law after police said she allegedly had a consensual sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student.

The Henrico Sheriff’s Office says Ashley Leigh-Lewis Weber was arrested following a report that came into their office June 12th. She faces two counts of consensual intercourse with a child age 15 or older and one count of using a communications device to facilitate sex.

Weber, 31, is employed at a history teacher at the West End high school according to a profile still up on the school’s website. She was arrested August 1st and is out on $5,000 bond.

There is no word on her current employment status as the investigation takes place. We’ll continue to follow this story as details emerge.
