Spring edition of Richmond Restaurant Week kicks off today at 40 area restaurants
Enjoy a three-course prix fixe dinner at 40 of Richmond’s best restaurants for $29.17 while helping feed the hungry in Central Virginia.
Richmond Restaurant Week, a semi-annual dining event to benefit FeedMore, kicks off today at 40 area restaurants around town. For $29.17, diners can enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu prepared by some of the area’s best chefs. $4.17 of the price goes directly to support the programs of the Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.
Founded in 2001, the event has gone on to raise over a half a million dollars for the organization. In 2016 alone, the event raised over $119,000, providing hundreds of thousands of meals for the hungry in Central Virginia.
Area chefs flex their creativity creating a three-course price fixed menu following some basic guidelines, and offer it up all week. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy your favorite spot in a new way, or to try a new place.
