Kroger looking to hire 300 employees at job fair next Wednesday

Openings include positions in the deli, grocery, bakery, and meat departments in addition to cashiers and baggers.

Kroger will hold a hiring event next week at its West End training center as it looks to fill 300 open positions at its Richmond area stores.

All Richmond area Kroger stores are currently hiring, and openings include positions in the deli, grocery, bakery, meat department and drug/GM. Cashiers and baggers are also needed.

“We’re always looking to hire new employees to be a part of the Kroger team in Richmond, a market that is always growing,” said Allison McGee, spokesperson for Kroger Mid-Atlantic. “We offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits with the opportunity to advance in one of America’s largest companies.”

The hiring event takes place Wednesday, January 11th from 2:00 – 7:00 PM. The facility is located at 2235 Staples Mill Road.

The company asks those interested to apply in advance online. After completing the application, applicants can stop in during the hiring event to speak with a Kroger hiring manager. No appointment is needed.
