In the early hours of Friday, January 12th, a blaze ravaged the rear of Carytown Burger and Fries, causing substantial damage to the establishment.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. at the restaurant’s location at 3449 W. Cary St. A neighbor reportedly noticed the fire and promptly alerted the authorities. Firefighters reached the scene swiftly and managed to extinguish the blaze quickly, with no injuries reported.

The eatery’s general manager arrived at the site around 5:45 a.m. for routine maintenance access, only to find the restaurant ablaze. Owners say the restaurant will be closed for some time, and workers will be out of employment during the cleanup process. No word on when the restaurant may reopen.
