A Short Pump restaurant known for its beer selection in West Broad Village has closed its doors.
Carolina Ale House at 11275 W. Broad Street shut down on Monday, posting to their Facebook page to share the news, calling the move simply a “business decision.”
The sports bar-centric chain, based in Raleigh, opened the Short Pump location – their only restaurant in Virginia – in 2016 in the building that formerly housed Mimi’s Café, a chain that also shut down.
Employees were offered the chance to apply for positions at the company’s other locations and are receiving other assistance, the company says. The business will also donate all usable food to Feed More.
