Pelon’s Baja Grill closes Richmond location over the weekend

A Richmond outpost of a Hampton Roads taco chain closed its doors over the weekend.

Without much fanfare and a simple post on Facebook, Pelon’s Baja Grill, located on Dabney Road in the Westwood area, shut down at the close of business on Saturday.

Digging deeper, Richmond BizSense says the closure was not necessarily due to lack of sales but because the restaurant was bought out of their lease to make room for a nearby business to expand.
