Final update on Little Nickel this time from RTD – They’re OPEN

UPDATE: Karri Peifer and RTD are reporting that today they will officially be open starting at 11 AM for lunch. For now their hours are 11AM-4PM but will add dinner on February 8th when they expect to have their full ABC license.

Karri Peifer of the RTD has more details on the Little Nickel. The last update came from Richmond Magazine. This update, however, includes a menu which you’ll have to jump over to RTD to see.
The time frame for opening remains the same and expect a soft-opening as early as this week.

“The cuisine could best be described as ‘vacation’ food- an eclectic mix of tropical dishes, a splash of coastal Mediterranean flair and spirited twists on mid-century American classics,” Giavos said. “Cocktail offerings are firmly tiki, a nod to Trader Vic’s and Don the Beachcomber’s exotic concoctions and would go just as well with halloumi fries as they would a flaming pu-pu platter.”

Still no exact date on opening but there is a menu to peruse.
