7 Hills Brewing heading for the hills on Monday

The brewery and restaurant lasted 2.5 years before throwing in the towel. Now we wait to see what goes into the prime Shockoe Bottom spot next.

The Shockoe Bottom brewery will be closing its doors for good this Monday, January 22nd according to a post on their Facebook page.

This continues the trend of restaurants not being able to last in the spot located at 115 S 15th Street. Prior to 7 Hills, it was Major Willy Mayo’s, and before it was Stool Pigeons. This is also the first major brewery to close up since the big brewery boom. We’re not counting Richbrau since we feel that it closed prior to breweries really taking off.
