Richmond Police seeking Museum District package thief

Police are looking for the Grinch who stole Christmas. Christmas packages, anyway.

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the photo and video [sent separately] who is suspected of a package theft which occurred in the Museum District on Friday.

At approximately 3:08 p.m., on Friday, an unknown male walked up to the front door of a residence in the 2800 block of West Grace Street and took a package from the front porch.

The suspect is described as a black male who was wearing a brown jacket with a hood, blue jeans, and white shoes at the time of the incident.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about this incident to call Third Precinct Detective Eric Sandlin at (804) 646-1010or contact Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
