Eleven Months, the Carytown restaurant owned by Hamooda Shami at 2915 W. Cary Street (and also the owner of neighboring taco joint Don’t Look Back), had a simple meaning behind its name. Every eleven months, the restaurant would shut down and rebrand itself to focus on a different style of food.

Well, it looks like that’s all changing. It’s been just over three months since the restaurant originally opened, and the restaurant’s first iteration, which was known as Best Friends Forever, with camp and friendship related decor.

That theme will become permanent, as the restaurant has changed its name legally to Best Friends Forever. The restaurant posted a photo of the paperwork on Facebook and teased a new menu come September. No other details were immediately clear. We’ll continue to follow this story as it unfolds.
