A new restaurant from the co-owners of Metzger Bar and Butchery is now open in Scott’s Addition.

Brenner Pass, a restaurant focusing on Alpine cuisine, is a venture of Chef Brittanny Anderson–a 2017 James Beard semifinalist–along with Nathan Conway and Brad Hemp. It opened for dinner service Thursday evening.

The menu “reflects a shared love of the Alpine region as well as a dedication to hospitality and great food and drink,” the restaurant’s website states. What does that entail? You can expect items like arctic char, steak frites, sweetbreads, and more.

Brenner Pass’ namesake, if you were wondering, is a mountain pass through the Alps in Italy.

The restaurant is located at 3200 Rockbridge Street, Suite 100, in the recently-constructed Symbol Building in Scott’s Addition, and serves dinner Tuesday through Saturday beginning at 5:00 PM. Lunch and Sunday brunch service are planned in the near future. You can reserve a table online here.
