Shoryuken Ramen home of fantastic ramen at 900 W. Franklin Street closed its doors earlier this year. Richmond BizSense is reporting that a new restaurant is moving in. The new spot has a chicken focus.

Richmond BizSense.com:

Bb.q Premium Chicken is a Korea-based quick-serve chicken restaurant that is quickly opening new locations in the U.S., according to its website.

The Franklin Street location would be the international chain’s first restaurant in Richmond. Another restaurant, it’s first in Virginia, recently opened in the D.C. exurb of Centerville.

From the Bb.q Premium Chicken website you can check out menus. For pricing you can turn to this page on Facebook which definitely gives you much more of a fast food joint feel than the website. The pricing definitely lines up with college student funds at about $8 for lunch.
