RVA Beer Explorer
RVA Beer Explorer: Apple, Week, Ginger, Cask 3, Untapped
A sip of local beer events that we found tasty.
BOULEVARD UNTAPPED

Not much information on the Facebook event page for Boulevard Untapped. We know it’s happening Saturday at the Diamond from 12-6 PM. There will be craft beer, food, music but no word on that super rare beer or that awesome band.
GINGERBREAD MAN COMETH
This will probably the most controversial stand we ever take here at RVA Hub. I think the hype and praise for Hardywood’s Gingerbread Stout is overblown. It’s a good beer but the degree to which some Richmonders go nuts for the beer is disproportionate to the greatness of the beer.
That being said if you go Hardywood Gingerbread Stout release I wouldn’t mind a bottle or two.
‘Tis the season for Hardywood Gingerbread Stout! Our brewery release will begin at 1PM on Saturday, Nov. 5 with free live music in the evening from Andrew Leahey & the Homestead, Photosynthesizers & Zep Replica!
Enjoy mobile menus from Slideways Mobile Bistro, Sammich, de Rochonnet delights Chocolatier, BoDillaz, Hungry Turtle Food Truck, Boka Tako Truckand Sugarbella’s Handcrafted Popcorn. We are also thrilled to introduce our seasonal flavor collaboration with Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches: Gingerbread Stout!
More information is on the way including bottle limits, distribution plans and details about our GBS pre-release bottle sale on Friday, Nov. 4!
CASK TURNS THREE

Ever since opening The Cask has become the go-to place for lovers of beer. The beer list always has an amazing selection and the staff and vibe are spot on. Swing on by this weekend and celebrate another year of slinging beer.

PREVIEW CIDER

Cider is so tasty and well deserving of a week of celebration. Get a preview of some of the cidery goodness at The Beet Cafe in Ellwood Thompson’s (4 N Thompson Street). Cider Week officially takes place November 11-20.
