It would be very un-dude of you to miss The Big LeBYRDski and Carytown Bathrobe Bar Crawl on November 4th. The annual event, put on by Center of the Universe Brewing and The Byrd Theatre Foundation, is back for another year, duderinos.

There are a lot of ins, a lot of outs, and a lot of what have yous, but organizers assure you that this year’s festivities will not disappoint.

The Big LeBYRDski happens at the Byrd Theatre on Friday, November 4th. The event starts at 8:00 PM for the screening of the great classic, The Big Lebowski. El Duderino and other COTU brews will be on-hand for your enjoyment and as in past years, the money you spend will go to The Byrd Theatre foundation. There will also be a Big Lebowski themed costume contest before the movie as well as other fun activities.

To kick it all off, there will be a Bathrobe Bar Crawl through Carytown at 6pm. Come in your bathrobe and bar crawl your way through Carytown with a bunch of other dudes and dudettes all the way to the Byrd Theatre for the main event. Stops include Mellow Mushroom, Citizen Burger, Weezies Kitchen, and New York Deli. Participants will pick up their “business papers” at The Byrd Theatre at 5:30 PM. This postcard-sized passport will lead you to bar crawl locations around Carytown. Participants who make it to all four stops will get a limited edition gift. Details on the bar crawl can be found here.

Tickets to the movie screening can be purchased in advance online here. Ticket includes admission into the theatre as well as one beer token to be redeemed for a glass of El Duderino.
