Photos: 3rd Annual Richmond Cycling Corps’ Alpe du Richmond
Richmond Cycling Corps’ took to Libby Hill to raise money and bikers challenged each other as they attacked the cobblestones.
The 3rd Annual Richmond Cycling Corps’ Alpe du Richmond took place on Libby Hill this past Sunday, and we were there for a few photos. Dogs and costumes were encouraged. The fundraiser raised thousands. Richmond Cycling Corps‘ mission is to educate and empower the lives of Richmond youth, mainly through cycling.
Richmond Cycling Corps is changing the lives of youth who live in Richmond’s public housing projects through cycling, education, and ongoing mentorship. While cycling is the main vehicle for programming, at the heart, our organization is serving disadvantaged youth who live in public housing, by showing up day after day, because we “Can’t stop, won’t stop.”
We are disrupting the status quo.
