Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will host several flower shows and sales over the coming months, beginning with the Virginia Orchid Society Show & Sale on February 28. Events are free to attend and feature hundreds of specimens both on display and for sale, as well as expert growers who will be on hand to answer questions and offer tips.

Gardening enthusiasts should also mark their calendars for RVA Tropical and Exotic Plants Swap on April 13 as well as the Garden’s popular, volunteer-run Spring Plant Sale on May 2-3.

Guests can learn more about the Garden’s living collection via guided seasonal tours, or by signing up for an adult learning class covering topics like mushroom cultivation, native perennials, and creating a kitchen garden.
