Thursday Farmers Market in Forest Hill Park Moving to Sundays in October

Good news for those that enjoy a local weekend market experience.

Okay a quick summary. The South of the James Farmers Market started in Forest Hill Park years ago on Saturdays. Due to Covid-19 it shut down for a while and then moved to Byran Park where it now resides permanently with the new name RVA Big Market. RVA Big Market runs year-round in Bryan Park.

Grow RVA this summer started a South of the James Thursday market. The Thursday market is going away in October and now the South of the James Market will be held on Sundays from 10 AM to 1 PM. This change won’t happen until October 3rd.
