Memorial Day weekend is always a busy time in our parks, beaches, and pools. This year with Covid-19 the options are limited and those that are open have new rules in place to try and keep everyone healthy.

The James River Park System will be open this Memorial Day Weekend, but in order to help protect the public, we are taking the precautionary measures listed below:

  • Pony Pasture Parking Lot Closed
  • Texas Beach/North Bank Parking Lot Closed
  • Tredegar Green Parking Lot Closed
  • Ancarrow’s Parking Lot limited to 60 vehicles
  • 21st Tower Closed
  • Pipeline Trail Closed
  • Manchester Climbing Wall Closed
  • No Public Bathrooms
  • River Level will be above 10 feet- No Swimming!
