Forest Hill Avenue Construction Update – Lane Closures Next Two Weekends

We’ll be losing a lane in each direction as storm sewers are being installed.

From Councilperson Kristen Larson:

Forest Hill Avenue construction update: The contractor plans to install storm sewer across Forest Hill Avenue between Hartwood and Glyndon (east of the Willow Oaks entrance) this weekend (11/1/19 – 11/4/19) and next weekend (11/8/19 to 11/11/19). This work will require traffic to be shifted into a single lane in each direction throughout the weekend from 7pm Friday until 6am Monday. Thank you for your patience during this construction.

On the off chance, you have no idea what the big picture goals of this project are here is the link to the city project page. Also, a reminder that Federal Funds are footing the entire $12 million bill so don’t yell about the city wasting money on this project.
