North Bank Connector Trail Now Open

You’ll be able to stay on trails the entire way as you travel the North Bank Trail along the James River.

Using the North Bank Trail for years has required a jaunt up onto streets and through a neighborhood. This mandatory detour ended yesterday. With the official chainsaw ribbon shredding, they officially opened the North Bank Connector trail. The area from the video is near Maymont and shows off the new entrance to the trail.

This trail was made possible by the Richmond Parks Trail Crew, rvaMore and many, many volunteers. Check it out when you get the chance. That chance probably won’t be today as we’re expecting storms to bring in nasty weather and y’all know to stay off trails when they’re muddy right?
