I have it on good authority (my foodie friend went last time) that Chef Mike will rock your socks with this meal. These kitchen takeovers don’t happen very often so get on it and get over to Laura Lee’s.

Laura Lee’s is hosting the next instance of Chef Mike Tam’s Maiko Kitchen Takeover, a one-night-only Chinese-American menu, on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, from 5-10 PM.

A Richmond native and the son of Chinese and Indonesian immigrants, Chef Mike Tam’s relationship to the flavors and ingredients of his parents’ culture was stirred during childhood summers in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. With almost two decades experience as a professional cook, MAIKO is a synthesis of Chef Mike Tam’s experience of travel and exploration of food.

This is not a ticketed event. The menu will be a la carte, with vegetarian options.
