Help give Binford bathrooms a makeover

If you have some spare time this weekend the local middle school could use more than a little help.

Binford Middle School opened its door in 1915 and was only the 5th Middle School to be opened in the United State. To say the building is showing its age is a major understatement.

Building a Better RPS and the Binford PTA has planned an extreme makeover of the basement bathrooms for Saturday, May 19th to make The Pride of the Fan shine.

They have a lot of parents and community volunteers who have stepped up and given Binford their skills and talents to plan this event and now they’re hoping the community will volunteer so they can pull this off.

Please come give them some time, meet people passionate about Binford and get the satisfaction of seeing what our community can do. As you can see from the pictures these bathrooms definitely need your help.

Building a Better RPS is a volunteer organization started in 2016 to provide the muscle and cash for projects/materials focused on Richmond Public School facilities thus improving the daily experience of teachers, staff, and students.
