GO DO THIS
Super Smash Bros. Melee Tournament – Cannon & Draw, Wednesday
Since the dawn of video game time, there have been those gamers that combine the sins or drinking and button mashing. This week show your mom that it wasn’t all a waste of time and win, win big (big is relative but it will cover part of your tab).

Next Wednesday (4/25) Canon & Draw will be holding our first Super Smash Bros. Melee Tournament! Simply buy a beer to enter the bracket, and compete for a $20 C&D Gift Card, $10 C&D Gift Card goes to second place. Relaxed tournament rules will be in place (‘Brewery Rules’), so anyone and everyone is encouraged to come out for a good time! Bracket entries begin at 6PM, gameplay starts at 7PM.
Uke-a-la la! Ukulele Jam & Sing Along – Intermission, Wednesday
You either think the ukulele is a pleasant instrument. Accessible to many and amazing in the hands of a pro. Other think it’s Satan’s tiny guitar and hate it with a red-passion that comes close to my feelings of distaste for all things harmonica. So this is either an invitation or a warning depending on where you stand on the uke.

Free! Bring a ukulele to play or just come to sing along and have fun with us!
All skill levels welcome, from beginner to aficionado.
Never played? – Come anyway and we’ll loan you a uke and teach you a few things!
(Other instruments are always welcome as well)
Food Truck Court – Hardywood West Creek Wednesday, Hardywood OB (Original Brewery) Thursday
For the first time last week I checked out Hardywood’s new West Creek location. It is pretty damn amazing. There is a ton of space so it makes sense that they would replicate their weekly Food Truck Court out there as well. My only real complaint is that my daughter’s soccer practice at West Creek is on Thursday so I can’t combine the practice and food truck activity. Who do I have to bribe to make this happen?
It’s not going to change this week, apparently, I have very little (none) pull in brewery food truck scheduling. Hit the links above to see who is slinging food where and when.
League of Space Pirates Single Release – Twisted Craft Ales, Saturday
Every beer tastes better when consumed with a League of Space Pirates near at hand. Speaking of hands check out Captain Orlok gauntlet if go to the show. It will impress. This will be a great way to listen to a bit of unique music and check out their new single.

FREE! Celebrate the release of our new single Impossible Girl (feat. Noah-O), with musical performances from us and our friends NOAH-Oand Flashlight Tag! ALL AGES welcome, bring the family!Â

DRINK THIS
IPL Release – Ardent, Thursday
India Pale wait of it….. Lager not Ale. It’s a crazy world we live in when suddenly Lager are stealing the India Pale from the Ale brothers and sisters. The only justice is to drink this new Lager and drink good.

IPL is a dry-hopped India Pale Lager. This beer offers big aromatics of tropical fruits and citrus from the Mosaic dry hop and pours a golden straw color. The medium body leads into tropical flavors with slight malt sweetness and herbal bitterness. Finishes clean, crisp, and light.

Collab w/ Conch Republic RockettsConch is our collaboration with Conch Republic Rocketts, a Key West inspired waterfront restaurant “just minutes from downtown Richmond but miles from the day to day.” Kick off the warm weather with our Caribbean-inspired witbier, brewed with Belgian yeast and conditioned with pineapple and coconut. Combined with notes of clove and pepper from the yeast, the fruit compliments these with bright, tropical fruit flavors and a lightly sweet finish. Make your way over to Conch Republic to pair with one of their fantastic menu offerings while the beer lasts!
Magnificent 7 Double IPA Release – Final Gravity, Friday
Yep, it’s another Lakeside IPA from the good folks at Final Gravity. If they don’t release an IPA every week will disaster strike? I hope we never find out.

Wave bub-bub-bub-bye to the boss early on Friday and head on over to Final Gravity to try our newest 8% Double IPA featuring Idaho 7 hops. Catch the taste of apricot, red grapefruit, and papaya with notes of resiny pine and black tea. It’ll get you up and get you out!
