Friends of Forest Hill Park will be in the park both Friday, 12/29, and Saturday, 12/30, removing non-native plants in the 3900 and 4000 blocks of Forest Hill Avenue. On Friday, we will be girdling trees (cutting vines growing on tree trunks) between 1:00 and 3:00. On Saturday, we will begin at 1:00 and work until 4:00 pulling up English ivy growing along the ground choking out young trees and other native vegetation west of the stone pyramid. Please come help on either day for as long as you want. Just one person working for a few minutes makes a big difference.

Volunteers are asked to gather at the Forest Hill Historic District sign in the 3900 block of Forest Hill Avenue.
