Coco bread is one of the best breads. This is fact. If there is less of it in Richmond we all are losers. Coco bread combined with delicious jerk chicken is even better. Richmond is now poorer with the Jerk Pit closure.

We missed the news when it happened and found out on Richmond BizSense.com. The Jerk Pit was open for 17 years on Broad Street and provided excellent, inexpensive, authentic Jamaican fare. We’ll drink a Red Stripe in your name.
