Henrico County Public Schools will host its annual College and Career Night on Monday, Oct. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the HCPS Adult Education Center, located in the lower level of Regency Mall at 1420 N. Parham Road. The event is open to all Henrico County students and their families.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives from nearly 100 two- and four-year colleges and universities, branches of the military, professional training programs, local businesses, and government agencies. In addition to career and academic networking, there will be specialists on hand to provide information about financial aid, scholarships, and other postsecondary support resources.

To streamline interactions at the event, students are encouraged to preregister at this site. After filling out a brief questionnaire, students will receive a personal barcode that colleges and organizations can scan to collect contact information—eliminating the need to manually fill out multiple forms during the evening.

Interpreters will be available to assist non-English-speaking families. The event is presented by HCPS in partnership with the Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers..
