The Girl Scout Commonwealth Council of Virginia chapter is on the move.
The Girl Scout Commonwealth Council of Virginia chapter is on the move.
The organization this week purchased the 18,375 square foot building, situated on 3.34 acres, from Self-Help Credit Union for $3,600,000. The Girl Scouts will relocate their current administrative offices and retail center from Willow Lawn to the new location on Skipwith Road.
This larger building will allow the Girl Scouts to expand their organization’s retail portion and create a collaborative space where Girl Scouts can gather, make friends, have fun, and learn how they can work together to give back to their community, according to a release from the Girl Scouts and Thalhimer, who brokered the deal.
Will McGoogan of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the seller; Amy J. Broderick and Kate Hosko, also with Thalhimer, represented the purchaser.
