Our local outdoor entrepreneurs Riverside Outfitters have announced a new service Riverside Cycling.

They want to help cyclists get out there and explore the Richmond area. They’ll be offering both road and trail tours. Check out tour options here, which run from $55 to $95 depending on the day of the week and the tour. Can’t get out because of a busted bike? Well, they’ll be offering full-service bike repair. Don’t have a bike? No excuses they’ll be selling some refurbished bikes and equipment. All of this will be operating out of their headquarters at 6836 Old Westham Road in Stratford Hills.

Riverside Cycling is the result of a collaboration between Riverside Outfitters and Richmond-native Max Pendergraph. Max brings several years of cycling industry experience working as a shop mechanic in Nashville, Tennessee, and doing maintenance for a global leader in the cycle touring market. He got his start in the bike world as a volunteer at a build-a-bike workshop for kids in Nashville where he learned first-hand how something seemingly straightforward like bike maintenance can have an outsized impact on all corners of a community.
