Commercial Robbery on Grace Street

The suspect is described as a black female, 5’5 to 5’6 in height, 25 to 30 years of age, wearing a grey or blue hoodie, pajama pants and sunglasses. 

From VCU Alert:

Reported offense: On Aug. 20, 2019 at 6:14 a.m., Richmond Police and VCU Police received a report of a commercial robbery that took place in the 1000 block of W. Grace Street.

Brief description of how the crime took place: At approximately 6:10 a.m., a female entered the store and approached the cashier. The suspect instructed the store employee to give her all the money. The suspect removed U.S. currency from the register and fled from the store; she left the area in a light-colored sedan. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

Suspect/s: The suspect is described as a black female, 5’5 to 5’6 in height, 25 to 30 years of age, wearing a grey or blue hoodie, pajama pants and sunglasses.

Investigating agency: Richmond Police are leading the investigation.
