RTD Reports Man Shot in Hand on Sheila Lane

The injury is described as not life-threatening and no arrests has been made.

Sunday evening up by the WalMart was a little more exciting than it needed to be. Around 9:40 PM police were called to the 2400 block of Sheila Lane and discovered a man with a shot hand.

From RTD:

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries described as not life-threatening. Detectives and forensic personnel were on the scene speaking with witnesses and collecting evidence. Detectives also were at the hospital trying to get details about what happened from the victim, Hudson said in a news release.

A male was seen “fleeing the scene briefly on foot prior to entering an unknown-colored SUV,” Hudson said.
