Since 2014 the Richmond BridgePark Foundation has been working on building a park across Manchester Bridge. The park would be similar to the High Line Park in NYC. The non-profit hopes to fund the multi-million dollar park through donations from corporations, charitable and civic organizations, community groups and citizens.

Next week you’ll have a chance to learn more.

On Thanksgiving week, we invite you to enjoy a free, chef-prepared meal and some fellowship with your neighbors.

BridgePark President, Ted Elmore, will provide an inside look at the pending BridgePark proposal, answer questions, and receive community feedback. The park plans have progressed so far in large part due to the input of so many engaged Richmonders; please continue to help us make it great.

We will install the 28-foot long architectural site model in the space to further develop conversation and ideas from the community.

BridgePark aims to be a park for the community, by the community. On Tuesday, we give thanks to you, and do work with you. Tuesday is one of many community meetings completed and upcoming about the project.

Vegan options will be available.
