Sink Hole Fix Me on Riverside Drive

I’ve got this sinking feeling.

This sinkhole has been growing on the 5000 block of Riverside Drive near Westover Hills Boulevard and the Nickel Bridge for months. The city’s RVA 311 app. has marked this project as Completed on August 3rd. As you can tell from the sign that went up over the weekend local residents disagree with that assessment.

Below is a photo I took a little while ago. I didn’t post about it because when I checked RVA 311 its status was Assigned so figured work would begin eventually I was wrong. Sidenote it is hard to take a good picture of a hole.
