Tiny Victory is a new Southeast Asian/Filipino-influenced restaurant located on 506 West Broad Street. The operation is the work of Ian Merryman and his partner Devon Halbert. Check out this Style Weekly article for more on Merryman and his vision for Tiny Victory.

Merryman aims for a balance of spicy, salty and savory, but works sour undertones into many dishes. He is fond of tamarind, a small pulpy tropical fruit, vinegar and tangy calamansi juice from a tiny Philippine citrus.

The restaurant has had a soft opening for about the past week but today is the official Grand Opening.

They’ll be busting out the full menu for today’s event and will be open from 5pm to 2am. The full menu is only available until 10pm and then they’ll switch over to the late night menu.
