Continental Divide Closing Its Doors
The good news is that in addition to looking for a new spot the Continental Divide food truck will keep on rolling to local events and catering gigs.
When Continental Divide opened in the Fan it had a built-in following from folks that had enjoyed their Tex-Mex offerings in Charlottesville. The Richmond location has been open for four years at2501 W. Main Street.

The restaurant made their announcement yesterday on Facebook:
For four years we’ve loved serving our #FanDistrict neighborhood and the #RVACommunity. However, after service on September 1st, Continental Divide will be closing our doors. We will be looking for a new space to open in the future. Please join us over the next few weeks to enjoy some Red Hot Blues, Santa Fe Enchiladas, Tacos, Nachos and Margaritas. Happy Hours are extended until 9 Tuesday – Sunday, and we’ll have a couple more fundraisers and dance parties to close it all out. Check our facebook events page for details.
But all is not lost. Divide Ride Tacos will continue to serve up delicious tacos, nachos and quesadillas at local breweries, wineries and other locations around town. You can find more info and reserve Divide Ride for your event at www.eatdivide.com and track us on Facebook, Instagram and StreetFoodFinder.
