Lights Going Out at Starlite

Lights Going Out at Starlite

The restaurant’s last day is September 1st. No word yet on the fate of the massive mural on the Robinson Street side.

All good things must come to an end and on Friday it became public knowledge that Starlite after 16 years will be closing for good.

Here is the official Facebook announcement:

It’s been a great 16 years! Now it’s time to do something new:
Starlite Dining & Lounge will bid a fond farewell to Richmond on September 1st, 2018. After 16 great years as a popular lunch, brunch, and late night destination we’re closing up shop to make way for a new concept. We can’t thank RVA enough for all the good times!

Please join us during the month of August to send Starlite out in style. On Saturday, 9/1 we’ll have brunch, dinner, and a party featuring our fave RVA DJ, HOODY!

Look for the new addition to the Lunch and Supper brand in early 2019. We’ll keep you posted…

The spot won’t stay empty for long. Karri Peifer of RTD has more details here.
