Stolen car and police chase ends in crash

A stolen car ended up crashing in the yard of a local home.

Thanks to Allan Sharrett we’ve got photos and a detailed account of an incident that occurred Monday evening.

PD officers arrested both occupants of a stolen car immediately following a crash at the corner of Devonshire Rd. & Prince Arthur Rd. on Monday evening. The car was headed north on Jahnke Rd. and continued through the intersection with Forest Hill Ave. The driver then lost control, hit a utility pole and continued into the side yard of a house on the northeast corner of the intersection with Devonshire. According to police, both attempted to flee the scene after the car flipped and came to rest on its side. Both the driver and passenger were in custody within minutes.
