Rock among the rock walls.

I know nothing about Metal Music. Even with my lack of knowledge I’ve heard of Inter Arma and think it’s cool that an empty building gets to see occasional use.

Appearing courtesy of Relapse Records, Inter Arma pull off an earth-shaking performance of the nearly eight-minute “An Archer In The Emptiness” from their 2017 album Paradise Gallows amidst a suitably massive backdrop of stone, steel, earth, and water fit for a Hollywood remake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Filmed and recorded live at the Byrd Park Pumphouse in support of the Virginia Tourism Corporation’s “Virginia Is For Lovers” campaign

It’s also worth mentioning that Friends of the Pump House is a new group that is gaining traction and hopes to bring more life into the Pump House. Check out Friends of Pump House on Facebook and their website. We’ll be doing a more in-depth article on the Friends soon.
