Ice Kayakers

I can’t imagine how cold their hands were after this little trek.

Walking down by the T. Tyler Potterfield Bridge around dusk last night witnessed four brave or simply warm-blooded kayakers hitting the James.

Getting ready to head out.

Pushing ahead.

Just walking on the James, looking for some water with a kayak.

These two took a different route and had to do a little ice-breaking. It looked like work.

Made it to open water.
