“Shockoe Hill Cemetery: A Richmond Landmark History.”  Local author and University of Richmond instructor, Alyson Taylor-White, discusses the exciting adventure of writing about one of Richmond’s oldest cemeteries.  Free-$10. 12:00 – 1:00 PM

Temple Beth-El Artist in Residence, Joshua Nelson Kosher Gospel is the marriage of Jewish religious lyrics and meanings with the soulful sounds of American gospel music. Such soul-inflected vocalizations filled the black synagogue Joshua attended as a child with his family, observant Jews who traced their lineage back to Senegal.
