Innsbrook-based management consulting firm SingleStone has been named one of the 2017 Best Small & Medium Workplaces by Great Place to Work and Fortune for a second consecutive year, it was announced this week. The company is ranked number 29 out of 50 small businesses, based on employee assessment of the leadership, innovation, benefits, and other categories provided in an anonymous survey. SingleStone was the only company in Richmond to receive the award for this category and one of only two in the state.

“We always strive to nurture an environment where people are engaged and fulfilled, enjoying their work and each other,” said Chris Little, SingleStone’s founder and chairman. “This is good for our clients too, since happy consultants make for happy clients. It’s the ripple effect. I’m thankful to each member of our team for making SingleStone a great place to work.”

One associate at SingleStone describes the culture as “second to none” while another says, “If I had to choose the one thing that stands out about SingleStone, it’s the tireless efforts of so many to ensure we hire the best people for our culture and offerings.”

“The Best Small & Medium workplaces are laying the groundwork for future success by building trust, cooperation and leadership credibility,” said Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “All of these enhance business performance and create a positive environment for doing business.”
