Help students thrive by adopting an Albert Hill or Thomas Jefferson school teacher this year

Volunteers simply need to visit their chosen classroom and deliver a treat to the teacher three times over the course of the school year.

Local organization STAY RVA, (Supporting Together Area Youth), a movement comprised of parents and neighbors who want to make Richmond’s local public schools thrive, is looking for about 20 people to adopt teachers at both Albert Hill Middle or Thomas Jefferson High Schools this year to help students thrive.

To adopt a classroom, all supporters need to do is visit the school and bring the teacher some sort of treat three times over the course of the school year. It’s that simple.
