Party on the Avenues, an annual street festival in the heart of Westhampton at Libbie and Patterson Avenues, takes place this Sunday. Expect lots of local food, craft beer, local vendors, and family-friendly entertainment all afternoon.

The festival, which brought in about 10,000 attendees in 2017, kicks off at noon on October 1st with live music from Redneck Pool Party, followed by The Mystic Soul Bubbas.

This year, 20 artists from around Richmond will also paint scenes of the neighborhood during the festival. The first-ever Plein Air Westhampton will see artists paint real-life scenes of the energy around the Westhampton community. Each will paint mostly outdoors, from the streets, sidewalks and storefronts of Westhampton.

Twenty percent of sales of the artwork will benefit local nonprofit FETCH-A-Cure.
