The Betty on Davis closing at the end of the week

After three years of serving up meals in the Fan the owners are calling it quits.

The cozy little blue restaurant on Davis Street is the latest reminder that the restaurant business is not easy. Luray and Cole Bucholtz and David Al-Attiyah opened The Betty on Davis in 2014 and celebrated their three-year anniversary this past Friday.

The announcement was made on The Betty on Davis’ Facebook:

Dear friends and family,
It is with great sadness that we announce our closing. This will be the last week we will be open for business. So make sure to come visit for our week of “Farewell’s”.

Join us tonight for Burger night, Tuesday for Date Night, Wednesday for Mussel Mania and Wine Night, Thursday for extended Happy Hour, Friday and Saturday for dinner and specials, and Sunday the 24th for our final Sunday Funday!

We survived 3 great years and are extremely grateful for the support our friends, family and the RVA community has shown to us. Thank you all for your patronage, your kindness and your love these past three years. We will miss you greatly!
