Float for hurricane relief efforts

Proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

This Sunday you can take a little float on the canal and know that you’re helping those recently hard hit by the hurricanes.

The RVA Hurricane Disaster Relief Benefit will be a sunset/moonlight cruise on the James. The ship takes sail this Sunday, September 17th. Advanced tickets are available currently for $14.50 with proceeds donated to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

Along with a great view, you’ll get a few snacks, music, and raffle with some great prizes. You’re allowed to even bring your own snacks and beverages.

Meet at the CanalTurning Basin @ 6:30 PM, located at the intersection of 14th and Dock streets on Virginia Street in Richmond’s Historic Shockoe Slip. Be sure to give yourself a little extra time for parking and traffic.
